Position Overview

Works as part of a cross trained team to manufacture battery packs and mechanical assemblies, moving between various tasks and assignments as required. Has a strong focus on quality, teamwork and dedication to providing excellent customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

Participate as part of small team performing electro-mechanical tasks. Understands they will take direction from team lead and Production Management to accomplish goals assigned. Is willing and able to effectively communicate questions and concerns to the team lead during the assembly process. Is Responsible for ensuring they have a good understanding of the skills and requirements for each assignment, and if not, willing to ask for help with training or clearer definitions.Train and work on skill improvements as offered either during or after the work dayAble to accomplish time balanced manufacturing goals, with provided training as needed.Offers opinions on assembly improvements and documentation.

Key Skills, Qualifications, Education and Experience

Command of the English language, both verbal and written. Able to read and comprehend assembly and safety instructions.

Uncompromising ability and willingness to follow instructions for both assembly, quality and safety

Mechanically adept excellent eye hand coordination. Familiar with basic assembly tools likeo Screw Drivers Air driven and manualo Cutterso Strippers thermal, manual, and automated

Able to stand and exert physical activity to accomplish tasks such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, and labeling and ink jetting assemblies.

Familiar with basic electronics is a plus, or must be willing and able to be trained: o Voltages and capacityo Volt Metero Series / Parallel connectionso Diodes / Fuses / temperature sensorso Electronic circuit boardso ESD Electro Static Discharge Control

Hand soldering with low temp and high temp Key Skill - Knowledge preferred OR willing and able to be trained. Capable of tracking time accurately using time management equipment provided.

Willing to set up of light-equipment, computers, and test equipment.

Physical Demands:
- Able to lift 45 pounds - Must be able to discern wire colors, red, green, blue, yellow etc...

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or GED and or 1 year related experience
